10th anniversary of the eTrade for all
The 10th anniversary celebration of eTrade for all, held on 8 July 2026 at the Palais des Nations in Geneva. The event marked a decade of cooperation among the initiative's partners, now numbering thirty-five, since its launch in Nairobi in 2016. Pedro Manuel Moreno, Acting Secretary-General of UN Trade and Development, delivered remarks reflecting on the partnership's achievements, including 41 eTrade Readiness Assessments and the eTrade for Women network of more than 500 women-led digital businesses across 75 countries, and outlined priorities for closing the digital divide over the next decade.
