Borrowers' Platform launch, Washington DC, 15 April 2026

Ministers of finance and central bank governors of developing countries convened on 15 April in Washington, DC on the margins of the IMF-World Bank Spring Meetings to launch the platform. The platform brings together finance ministers and central bank governors from developing countries to strengthen debt management capacity, enhance coordination and amplify their collective voice in global debt discussions.
