SG Rebeca Grynspan at the Launch of UNCTAD Report on Value Addition in Namibia
On 19 February 2026 in Windhoek, UN Trade and Development Secretary-General Rebeca Grynspan attends the launch of UNCTAD’s report on value addition and diversification in Namibia’s critical energy transition minerals sector. Funded by the Government of Japan and organized in partnership with the Namibia National Planning Commission, the report outlines practical pathways for industrialization, job creation and sustainable growth. The event brings together government, private sector and development partners to discuss implementation and next steps for advancing Namibia’s economic diversification agenda.
