The 03 of March 2025, at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, the 5th United Nations Ocean Forum brings together global leaders, experts, and stakeholders to address trade-related aspects of Sustainable Development Goal 14. Over three days, discussions focus on aligning trade and economic policies with ocean sustainability, recognizing the vital role of the ocean in sustaining biodiversity, regulating the climate, and supporting food security, jobs, and global trade. As climate change, overfishing, and pollution threaten marine ecosystems and millions of livelihoods, the forum seeks to foster solutions for the sustainable use of marine resources.
