UNCTAD SG Rebeca Grynspan at the “1+10” Dialogue with Chinese Premier Li Qiang

UN Trade and Development Secretary-General Rebeca Grynspan participates in the high-level “1+10” Dialogue hosted by Chinese Premier Li Qiang in Beijing on 9 December. Under the theme “Working Together on Global Governance for Shared Development,” the dialogue brings together the heads of major international economic organizations to exchange views on strengthening cooperation, enhancing financial stability, and advancing development in an increasingly interconnected global economy. Participants included: • Li Qiang, Premier of the People’s Republic of China • Dilma Rousseff, President, New Development Bank • Ajay Banga, President, World Bank • Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director, International Monetary Fund (IMF) • Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General, World Trade Organization (WTO) • Rebeca Grynspan, Secretary-General, UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) • Gilbert F. Houngbo, Director-General, International Labour Organization (ILO) • Pablo Hernández de Cos, General Manager, Bank for International Settlements (BIS) • Andrew Bailey, Chair, Financial Stability Board (FSB) • Jin Liqun, President, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) • František Ruzicka, Deputy Secretary-General, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) The gathering underscores the importance of coordinated global governance to support shared, inclusive and sustainable development.
