Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting — 42nd Session, Geneva
12–14 November 2025 — Rebeca Grynspan, Secretary-General of UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD), participated in the 42nd session of the Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting (ISAR), held at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. Since the adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals in 2015, ISAR has played a pivotal role in advancing the harmonization of sustainability reporting frameworks and standards. The 42nd session focused on recent developments in sustainability reporting, including the integration of biodiversity and human capital considerations into corporate disclosure practices.
