Africa eCommerce Week was organized from 10 to 14 December by UNCTAD, the African Union, the European Union and eTrade for All partners. Held at the United Nations Office at Nairobi and hosted by the Kenyan government, the conference examined ways to enhance the ability of African countries to engage in and benefit from e-commerce and the evolving digital economy. This breakfast is convened by the World Economic Forum together with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD)-led eTrade for all initiative to launch a Pan-African multistakeholder community that can serve as a public-private sounding board for brainstorming digital trade policy and partnerships in the region.
