Empretec entrepreneurs at FounderX, Silicon Valley
UN Trade and Development and Founder Institute signed a partnership agreement at FounderX, focused on entrepreneurship, innovation and the development of entrepreneurial ecosystems.
The signing closed a week-long programme that brought entrepreneurs and investors from UN Trade and Development's Empretec network in Africa, Asia and Latin America to Silicon Valley. Participants attended FounderX, visited Google and 500 Global, and took part in the UN Trade and Development session "Scaling Beyond Borders: Practical Playbooks for Global Expansion in an AI-Driven World", alongside founders, investors and ecosystem leaders.
Empretec is UN Trade and Development's entrepreneurship programme, which supports the growth of small and medium-sized businesses in more than 40 countries.
