Signature of MoU between UNCTAD, Dublin Port Company (DPC) and Port of Cork Company (PoCC)new album

On Thursday 18 September 2014, two Irish ports will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi, Secretary General of UNCTAD, will lead the signature of the MoU between Dublin Port Company (DPC) and the Port of Cork Company (PoCC). This document is an important step to continue the successful cooperation between the ports, UNCTAD and Irish Aid in the framework of the English-speaking network of UNCTAD’s TrainForTrade Port Training Programme (PTP). The PTP supports port communities in developing countries in quest for efficient and competitive port management.The PoCC and DPC will be represented by its CEO and Directors, respectively, while representatives from various permanent missions in Geneva, who are part of the PTP, have been invited to also attend the ceremony.
