During this important gathering, the Board was expected to formally endorse the venue for the sixteenth session of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD XVI). In her address, UNCTAD Secretary-General Rebeca Grynspan expressed her profound gratitude to the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam for their generous offer to host UNCTAD XVI.
